  • He is the chief founding member of Oshin Power Service P. Ltd. and has been working as an Engineering and Sales Manager, since its establishment.  He has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of micro/mini hydro power.
     
  • Initially, he had worked in Development & Consulting Services-DCS (a United Mission to Nepal project organization), Butwal for 11-years as an Electrical Overseer/Specialist.  He also had an experience of running a MH Service Centre of Alternative Energy Promotion Centre-AEPC/Energy Sector Assistance Program-ESAP in Jumla as a Team Leader for two years and was involved in project management, networking and facilitation works for institutional development.
     
  • Professional key experiences include:
    • Detailed feasibility studies, design & costing, installations, construction supervision, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of micro/mini hydropower projects,  Preparation of training manuals, guidelines and Conducting professional trainings & workshops on micro-hydro power sponsored by different INGOs (i.e. Intermediated Technology Development Group, International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, Renewal Energy Development Program, AEPC/ESAP etc.) as  Training Coordinator, Trainer and Facilitator,
       
    • Design and assembly of electrical circuits, control panels and power system technologies together with Repair and maintenance of MH Plants.
       
  • He had participated in different trainings and workshops i.e., MH Designs, Standards and Grid Connection, Finalization & Standardization of MH Guidelines, Project Management/TQM, Mid-Level Management, ToT etc.
     
  • He is a certified Micro Hydro Inspector (Category–A, for the projects ranging above 100kW to 1 MW) by AEPC/ESAP.
     
  • He has an extensive experience of conducting Micro Hydro Operators’ Trainings supported by AEPC/ESAP as Course Coordinator/Training Coordinator.
     
  • He was a key person of the team in preparing existing guidelines and training aid material for micro hydro operators published by AEPC/ESAP.
     
  • In addition to his engineering profession, he has equally participated in numerous meditation therapies and camps.
